Learn To BuildReal Businesses

We’re Rushil and Kashni, and we run businesses of our own. Give us an hour and we’ll help your kid work out one of theirs.

$50. Ages 7 to 13. All online.

The workshop

What Happens In The Hour

Your kid picks something they’re already into, like slime or football cards or baking. We help them work out who would buy it and what to charge. By the end they can explain their business to you in a sentence.

Rushil And Kashni

Between us we started building at seven and nine. It turns out kids listen a bit differently when the person teaching them isn’t that much older than they are.

  • Mentor

    Rushil

    Founders School, New York

Rushil started a first business at nine and has built several since, including Youth for Yoga, which is kids teaching kids yoga. Now at Founders School in New York, where the actual coursework is building companies. In sessions Rushil takes the money side: what a thing costs to make, what to charge for it, and whether it holds up as a business at all.

  • Mentor

    Kashni

    Brand, social and marketing

Kashni has been building things since the age of seven and co-founded Youth for Yoga. In sessions Kashni takes the brand side: what a business gets called, what it looks like, and how anyone finds out it exists. That is usually the part kids get stuck on.
