Terms & refunds

The workshop is one live, 60-minute session online, with no more than eight children in it, run by Rushil and Kashni. It comes with a Biz Builder account your child keeps afterwards.

The Starter Lab is four live sessions built around a single idea. It is priced separately from the workshop, and we tell you what it costs before you book it.

• ·Cancel more than 24 hours before the session and we refund you in full, no questions.
• ·Inside 24 hours we will usually move you to a later date rather than refund, because the seat is hard to fill at that point. Ask us — we are reasonable.
• ·If we cancel, or a mentor cannot make it, you get all of your money back or a seat on another date, whichever you prefer.
• ·If your child attends and you think it was not worth it, email us and tell us why. We would rather refund you than have you feel sold to.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually land within five to ten working days.

Email us any time before the session and we will move your child to another date at no cost. Children get ill and families have weekends; this is not something we make difficult.

• ·A device with a camera and microphone, and an adult nearby at the start in case of technical trouble.
• ·A grown-up's help with the between-session quests. Several of them involve talking to real people, and they are meant to be done together.
• ·Your child's real first name, so mentors can use it.

Every idea, name, drawing, prototype and business a child creates here belongs to that child and your family. We claim no ownership of it and no share of anything they earn. If we ever want to show their work publicly, we will ask you first, in writing, and a no changes nothing about your place in the session.

Sessions are small and live. If a child is repeatedly disruptive to the point that the others cannot work, we will talk to you first, and only remove them from a session as a last resort — with a refund for anything they have not attended.

Anything a child earns is theirs. We do not handle it, hold it, or take a cut — sales recorded in Biz Builder are a notebook, not a payment system. Real money changes hands between your child and their customer, with you supervising.

Kids Learn Biz is run by Rushil Chopra and Kashni, and operated by Ninth Street Labs. Payments appear on your statement through Stripe.
